Bring Fresh Fruits and Vegetables to Your Employees

Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) programs help people to buy local, seasonal food directly from a farmer. Consumers who sign up for a CSA will receive a "share" of vegetables, fruit, or other farm products each week throughout the farming season.

Providing a CSA pick-up at your workplace is a great way to encourage your employees to eat more fresh, healthy food and improve their health. CSA programs are convenient, since employees can pick up fresh fruits and vegetables at work, and cost-effective compared to shopping at the grocery store. These programs also encourage employees to try new fruits and vegetables. You can expand the benefits of a CSA program by offering nutrition presentations, cooking demonstrations, or sending out nutrition tips and recipes.
