About Us

Join our efforts now... for a healthier Lancaster tomorrow!

There are many ways to get involved!

We are a group of concerned individuals whose members include stay-at-home parents, students, educators, wellness professionals, healthcare providers, local government officials, food service employees, recreation/fitness facilities, non-profits and businesses. We each bring different experiences and perspectives to the table, but our unifying purpose is to develop, implement, and promote local policies and programs that make being healthy easy.

We warmly welcome you to join us to help advance the health of our community. There are many ways to get involved depending on your interests. Share your talents by becoming a member of one or more of our Strategic Working Groups. Each group has specific action items tied to an initiative. Working group initiatives are designed to be evolving to eventually include new mission-minded ideas and directions. Our 7 strategic working groups are outlined below, with the option to learn more about the corresponding group's work by clicking on the specific parts of the image.

As a member of our Coalition, you’ll also receive a monthly e-newsletter and have opportunities to network with other people who share the same vision for improving the health of Lancaster County.

The entire Coalition meets on a quarterly basis at Burle Industrial Park, 1030 New Holland Avenue. Working groups meet separately. All meetings are free and open to the public. View the most recent quarterly meeting minutes here!
